Us

I’m Paul – often referred to as the grumpy one, though I prefer selectively cheerful. Over seven years ago, I opened The Emporium with a vision to create something a little different: a space full of charm, character, and carefully curated pieces you wouldn’t find just anywhere.

Today, that vision has evolved into Revampt – a new name, a new location, and a refreshed purpose grounded in the ethos of Restore, Revive, Recycle, and Revamp. I’m now joined by my youngest daughter, Megan – the smiley one who runs rings around me and stars in most of our social media. Our personal styles couldn’t be more different, but it’s exactly that creative tension that brings such a unique energy to the shop.

While our beginnings were rooted in handmade gifts, our ‘why’ has grown. We now source distinctive, characterful items from a mix of local artisans and global curators. Alongside our ever-growing selection of vintage and retro clothing, you’ll find upcycled furniture, quirky and unusual gifts, and a full range of Frenchic paint for your own creative revamps.

We’re passionate about the beauty of second chances – whether that’s a tired piece of furniture given new life, a vintage jacket with a story to tell, or something playful that simply makes you smile. It’s never boring – and that’s exactly how we like it.

Hello!

The man has curly gray hair, a beard, and is dressed in a white shirt. They are sitting close to each other, with the woman's left hand on her lap and the man's hands resting on the table.
